PLM Soundtracks today releases Tris Taylor's City Of Promise – an expansive, contemporary narrative of urban growth and confidence.

It draws heavily on music from Middle Eastern and European cultures. Global influences have been a feature of Taylor's work since award-winning director Nour Wazzi commissioned him and A.K. Benedict to score her film 'Habibti.'

Jessie Deeter's acclaimed documentary A Revolution In Four Seasons, which features two compositions from City Of Promise, screens at Curzon Bloomsbury next Monday as part of Bertha Dochouse's 'The Lives Of Others' season.
